Thousands of cheering beach volleyball fans came out to the multi-day Swatch Beach Volleyball Major Series Finals, held on the shores of Fort Lauderdale Beach and sponsored by Venice magazine. In partnership with Red Bull, the global sporting event was televised nationally on NBC. At the tournament were some of the world’s top players, including gold medalist Phil Dalhausser and the top women’s volleyball duo of Ágatha Bednarczuk and Bárbara Seixas. VIP guests were welcomed into the exclusive, catered tent by Venice publisher, Carlos Suarez. In fitting South Florida spirit, the winning teams received signature trophies designed by artist Romero Britto. Other partners included Ed Morse Automotive Group, NBC 6, Red Bull, Bahia Mar, Peroni, Whispering Angel, Casamigos Tequila and Bar Stache. The Major Series Finals represents the culmination of an international year-long, four-stop volleyball series that has the top teams vying for points on their road to the Rio Olympics.
