Circle of Influence
Bringing paintings, sculptures, collages and photographs from NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale’s permanent collection in conversation with multimedia artist Eric N. Mack’s exhibition “Lemme walk across the room,” “Lineages: Works from the Collection,” on view through spring 2022, includes work by artists who have influenced Mack, along with contemporary pieces and recent acquisitions that share affinities to his poetic arrangements and themes of racial politics.

If the Spirit Moves You
Boasting a library of over 900 bottles—including some of the rarest whiskeys in the world—Warren, American Whiskey Kitchen, now open in Delray Beach thanks to hospitality veterans Jeff John and Brian Freed, is a malt lover’s paradise. In addition to spirits, wines and craft cocktails, the sleek, sophisticated dining room serves up locally sourced ingredients and American-inspired shareable plates, and every visit ends on a sweet note with freshly made cotton candy.

Fresh Off the Vine
“Just great juice” is the name of the game at Vinya, a new wine retailer and bar in Key Biscayne offering oenophiles an exciting, meticulously curated collection of unique and traditional wines (many under $20 a bottle) and tasting experiences, including Sip with a Somm Sundays hosted by acclaimed sommelier Allegra Angelo.

Blockbuster Renovation
With a ceremonial groundbreaking this past May, the Florida Panthers’ historic $65 million privately funded revitalization of the War Memorial Auditorium in Holiday Park is now fully underway. The 144,000-square-foot sports and entertainment venue with a ballroom-style concert hall and two ice rinks is slated to open next summer.
