Upgrade your winter cocktail regimen with Spicy Nights, the newest addition to Thasos Greek Taverna’s menu. Not overly sweet or heavy, Spicy Nights carries a structured depth and a refreshing profile without the use of traditional flavors. As lead bartender Renata René Brychtova says, “I wanted to stay away from the citrus lime and orange you typically find in tequila recipes to create a grown-up tequila beverage.” Created with ultra-smooth Libélula Tequila, this sophisticated cocktail is reminiscent of the classic Old Fashioned, but with the addition of amaro and grapefruit bitters. Take a sip, and you’ll find old is new again.

INGREDIENTS:

2 ounces Libélula Tequila Joven
1/4 ounce sugarcane syrup
1/2 ounce Nonino Amaro
2 dashes grapefruit bitters

Combine all ingredients into an Old Fashioned glass and add the biggest ice cubes you can find. Give it a stir or two (but don’t shake) and garnish with a strip of orange zest and two cocktail cherries.
