Fort Lauderdale beach’s premier pet-friendly destination The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is giving dog parents something to look forward as the resort announces the launch of Tail Waggin’ Terrace. The Yappy Hour will take place on the Tequila Terrace at the property’s signature restaurant Lona Cocina & Tequileria.

Pamper your pet with puppy playdates, sample treats and complimentary puptails, all made using pet-safe ingredients such as water, carrot juice and chicken broth. For the humans, photo opps and specialty themed cocktails for $12 including Xolo – tequila, lime, apple and Fever Tree lemon tonic; La Raza – tequila, lime, apple and Fever Tree pink grapefruit; and Nacho – tequila, lime, apple and sparkling lemon. A portion of sales from the specialty cocktails will benefit Animal Aid, a local non-profit adoption center and clinic that takes in dogs and cats in emergency, abuse and neglect cases as well as animals from various animal control agencies in South Florida.
