Tequila enthusiasts can rejoice this Cinco de Mayo as Toro Toro, Chef Richard Sandoval’s Pan-Latin steakhouse, is celebrating with a carefully curated Tacos & Tequila Pairing in collaboration with Casamigos. Priced at $39 per person, the 4-course taco menu by Executive Chef Jean Delgado will be available on Thursday, May 5 from 12PM to 10PM and pairs expertly with Casamigos’ selection of sleek tequilas. The pairing will kick off with the Fish Taco – fried grouper, aji amarillo aioli and salsa criolla – paired with Casamigos Silver, followed by a Carne Asada Taco – guajillo corn gremolata and crispy plantain – served with Casamigos Reposado. The final courses will showcase the Carnitas Taco – pork chunks, pickled onions and chipotle aioli – complemented by Casamigos Anejo and finally, the Chicken Al Pastor Taco – grilled pineapple, cilantro sauce and avocado – served with the specialty Cocktail Abaxaci – aquafaba, grilled pineapple, vanilla infused agave and solerno. Toro Toro is located at InterContinental Miami at 100 Chopin Plaza in Downtown Miami. Reservations are encouraged.
