The exhibition, curated by Kristin Beck, addresses the modern approach of quilt makers that employ negative space, saturated colors, and non-traditional block work outside of a traditional quilt grid. It also celebrates improvisational work, bold and graphic shapes and design, modern traditionalism, as well as making statements and representing slices of life like a diarist’s page.
