Time Out Market Miami presents an intimate fireside chat with mixologist Miguel Soto Rincon and author Tamika Hall of Black Mixcellence: A Comprehensive Guide to Black Mixology. The conversation will include a brief interview with the mixologist and a tie-in to Black History and Juneteenth with mixology as a service job that many slaves used to earn their freedom. Guests will also be treated to a cocktail demonstration and tasting of Caribbean Noir by Rincon along with a signed copy of the book and recipe card to make the drink at home. Priced at $35, guests will receive a pre-ordered signed copy of the book and one cocktail and recipe card. During the month of June, The Lacandon Cocktail by Colin Asare-Appiah from the book Black Excellence: A Comprehensive Guide to Black Mixology by Tamika Hall will be available at Time Out Market bars in New York, Miami and Boston. For every Lacandon Cocktail sold, $1 will go to the National Black Farmers Association (NBFA).
